My son wanted a camcorder for his twelfth birthday. A new camcorder cost about $300 at that time.
I couldn't see spending that much money on a camcorder for a twelve year old boy. So I decided to look for a used one. I looked through the local classifides, but found nobody advertising to sell a used camcorder.
If I had a way to tell everyone what I was looking for, I new there would be many households in my area with an outdated, but working, camcorder.
That's when I thought it would be a good idea if somebody started a website for people like me to list things they are wanting to buy.

Lookn4.com maintains a database full of people who say they are looking for something. People who have something to sell can search this database to find potential buyers.
There are many websites that let people list items for sale- a very popular one comes to mind. They will typically charge the seller a fee for their service, and it is up to the buyer to search around for what they want.
Lookn4.com is free. We will never charge a fee to post a listing on our website, and you can have as many listings as you want. We will never charge a fee to the seller for searching our database, either.
We are here to let buyers and sellers find each other.

Buyers
We have tried to make Lookn4.com as easy as possible. All you need to put a listing in our database is a user-name and password. These can be almost anything you like. Then select the category that best fits what you are looking for, and enter a brief description.
You will be asked to enter an email address. This is not mandatory.
Making changes to your listings is easy, too. Just login with your user-name and password. All of your listings will be displayed for you. Edit the listings as desired, and select "SAVE CHANGES".
Sellers
Lookn4.com offers sellers an easy way to find people who say they are looking to buy something. If you have something to sell, search our database by category and keyword(s). You will be given a list of potential buyers and a link to send them an email.
After buyer and seller find each other, Lookn4.com lets them work out the details on their own.
We are always open to suggestions and requests. If you would like to see a category added, send us an email.
